Job summary

BD Pyxis Field Service Engineer I provides remote and on-site support for automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DHA/DoD facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in hardware/software IT support, excellent communication and documentation skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% with a company vehicle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years hardware, software and IT support experience.
• Excellent communication, documentation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems.
• Respond to work orders within service levels and prioritize as needed.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with full case ownership.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs and calibrations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and document expenses and time logs.
