Job summary

HistoSonics is seeking an Area Sales Representative for the Chicago area. You will identify hospitals and health systems, build early relationships with interventional radiology, hepatobiliary surgery, and oncology leaders, and hand off qualified accounts to the ASM team.

Reporting to the Area Sales Director, you will maintain a live pipeline, collaborate with Account Managers, and travel up to 75% to drive region revenue and Edison System adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a healthcare field.
• Minimum 2 years in medical device or related sales/clinical liaison roles.
• Willing to travel up to 75% and meet credentialing requirements.
• Must be insurable with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Map and prioritize target accounts in the region based on tumor program maturity and capital readiness.
• Build early relationships with interventional radiologists, hepatobiliary surgeons, oncologists and hospital admins.
• Conduct discovery to understand workflows, capital acquisition, and decision processes.
• Partner with ASMs to prioritize high-potential accounts and track progression to opportunities.
• Maintain a live pipeline and report metrics to the ASD on a regular cadence.
• Coordinate with AMs on handoffs into program launch and utilization growth.
• Identify key opinion leaders and centers of excellence for future reference sites.
• Support trade shows and regional conferences to build the referral network.
• Develop knowledge of histotripsy and the Edison System to speak credibly with customers.
• Comply with regulatory and AdvaMed guidelines for pre- and post-commercialization activities.
