Job summary

BD in Columbus, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service electronic and mechanical equipment, read blueprints, and follow manufacturer specifications within cGMP guidelines.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, inventory control, and supporting engineering projects. The role requires English communication and willingness to work a rotating 6PM–6AM shift; overtime flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Two years of relevant technical experience may substitute an Associates degree.
• Experience with hydraulic, electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Support engineering projects with equipment installation and IQs.
• Participate in continuous improvement to reduce costs and waste.
• Test circuits and use oscilloscopes, meters, generators, and probes.
• Install and modify control panel wiring; work with PLC programs.
• Train operators and assist with machine setup.
• Maintain spare parts inventory with central crib; troubleshoot pneumatic and mechanical systems.
