Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in a related field preferred.
• Ten years of technical experience can substitute for degree.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance in manufacturing is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with production equipment.
• Maintaining and improving production equipment to meet quality standards.
• Support and train technicians and operators on equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs (PanelView) and vision systems on production lines.
• Work with senior designers on capital projects and control systems upgrades.
• Understand networks used in the department (Ethernet, DH485, DH+, Devicenet, Sercos, CIP Motion).
• Setup, adjust and changeover production equipment.
• Repair equipment and ensure GMP compliance.
• Order parts and install control wiring and safety circuits.
