Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the MedSurg/4 West unit to support RN-led care and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS/CPR certification must be current or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Pass clinical competency testing is required.
• Must have physical ability to perform job responsibilities and basic math/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care interventions in MedSurg for patients and families.
• Obtain vital signs, assist with bathing, feeding, hygiene, wound care and mobility.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure adequate supplies in MedSurg.
• Support efficient department operations and contribute to quality patient outcomes.
