Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with guests.
• Retail experience is desirable and helpful for merchandising and sales.
• Must be able to operate a POS system or be willing to learn.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Learn and present the history of Medora to guests.
• Serve as a combined retail associate: sell tickets and merchandise.
• Welcome guests and ensure safety at the Von Hoffman House.
• Deliver a accurate historical script for Medora’s walking tour.
• Answer questions about Medora’s history with passion and accuracy.
• Operate cash register and manage checkout procedures.
• Keep the gift shop clean, restocked, and organized.
• Greet customers and upsell Medora attractions and tickets.
