Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation seeks a Retail and Ticketing Representative to assist guests with questions about events, shows, and activities in Medora. You will handle ticket sales, process payments, and ensure accurate checkout using the POS system.

The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage ticket orders, exchanges, and merchandise queries. This is a full-time seasonal position with varied days including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales is preferred.
• Experience operating POS systems.
• Experience with ticketing systems (Etix) a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly, professional service and answer event questions.
• Assist guests with purchasing tickets for Medora events and activities.
• Operate the cash register and ensure proper checkout procedures.
• Process payments and returns and exchanges as needed.
• Assist with merchandise inquiries and stocking in the gift shop.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing tasks.
• Report POS, inventory, or guest-service issues to retail management.
• Inform guests about Medora attractions and how to acquire tickets.
