Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead development and implementation of procurement strategies across categories aligned with project objectives.

You will form, lead, and oversee teams of subject matter experts to deliver value while driving best cost from estimate to contract close-out. The role focuses on achieving best cost and improving efficiency, building networks inside and outside the organization, and negotiating master agreements with key suppliers.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years' experience in a procurement, contract management, project management or related role.
• Expertise in procurement, estimating, business, and leadership.
• Demonstrated experience developing procurement category strategies.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts with vendors.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience creating project management plans that specify charter, scope, cost estimates, schedule, milestones and target dates, and risk management plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy to achieve financial value-add and improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Assess work streams for consolidation opportunities and best-practice processes.
• Closely monitor pricing and commodity trends and supplier capacity.
• Negotiate Master Agreements with key suppliers.
• Develop and implement metrics to monitor performance and identify gaps.
• Drive cost savings and efficiency across Rosendin projects.
• Maintain a safety-conscious work environment and ensure compliance.
