Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a part-time/PRN Medication Technician to administer medications within the scope of your license and provide daily resident care in a supportive setting. You will work under a licensed nurse and contribute to care plans, ensuring safety and well-being for residents.

This role includes assisting with personal care, dining, and activities, while promoting infection control and reporting changes promptly to supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration and monitor effects; report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist in dining rooms and monitor resident meals and safety.
• Encourage participation in activities and socialization.
• Communicate changes to the nurse and report safety concerns; follow infection control guidelines.
