Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications within the licensed scope and provide daily care to residents under a care plan. You will document medication administration, monitor responses, and report changes to the nurse, while promoting safety and infection control in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, dining support, and participating in leisure activities to encourage socialization.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility

Responsibilities

• Assist / administer medications according to health care provider instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and effects.
• Provide resident personal care activities as directed.
• Assist in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Promote safety and infection control; report unsafe situations.
• Communicate with nurses on resident conditions and concerns.
