Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Works under the general supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Administers medications according to health care provider instructions within license scope.
• Maintains accurate documentation of medication administration and observed effects.
• Performs personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assists in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Promotes safety and infection control following facility guidelines.
• Communicates with nurses on resident conditions and concerns.
• Provides companionship and support to residents.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
