Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents up to 75 pounds.
• Good communication and observational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain documentation of medication administration and effectiveness.
• Provide daily resident care according to the care plan.
• Assist in dining rooms and monitor residents.
• Observe and report changes to the nurse.
• Promote safety and infection control in daily tasks.
