Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care and administer daily medications with dignity and compassion. You will follow MAR orders, use the eMAR system, and collaborate with leadership to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include an active Medication Technician Certification or at least one year in senior care, CPR/First Aid, high school diploma, and strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least 1 year of experience in care of seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Adhere to the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
