Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to document, deliver, and administer medicines to residents with exceptional service and adherence to all policies and regulations. This full-time role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a compassionate approach to resident care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily medications, documenting administration, coordinating with pharmacy and physicians, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over and work authorization.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling medications preferred but on-the-job training is available.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• HIPAA compliance required.
• Must meet state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications and care per policy.
• Observe, verify and document medication intake and effects.
• Maintain confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Coordinate medication services with pharmacy and physician; verify dosages.
• Perform narcotic counts at shift start and end; report discrepancies.
• Assist caregivers and participate in other duties as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate resident changes to supervisor immediately.
