Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to document, deliver and administer medications to residents with superior service and in compliance with regulations. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, coordinating with pharmacy and physicians, and maintaining accurate records in a compassionate, resident‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over or proper work permit documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling medications preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• Negative TB test results within the required timeframe.
• Must read, write and speak English; ability to follow directions.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments and care within scope.
• Observe and document medication ingestion or application as directed.
• Notify supervisor about any discrepancies or changes in medication orders.
• Maintain confidential records of resident medication and care.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Prepare medications ahead of time and participate in narcotic counts.
• Support caregivers and perform duties to ensure resident safety and comfort.
