Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to document, deliver and administer medicines to residents per physician orders and policy. This role emphasizes superior customer service and adherence to regulations within a supportive team environment.

You will work on a schedule that includes day shifts and require compassionate, detail-oriented care with residents across our western US communities. MBK values growth, training, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Experience handling medications preferred, on-the-job training available
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Must be able to lift and mobilize residents as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications and treatments per policy and regulations
• Observe and document medication administration accuracy and timing
• Maintain confidential records of resident medication and care
• Coordinate with pharmacy and physician for medication changes
• Participate in narcotic counts and report discrepancies
• Assist caregivers in daily living activities and safety checks
• Support resident safety and respond to alerts and emergencies

Education
