Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician for The Barclay House of Augusta in the United States. The role focuses on safe medication administration, resident care, and supportive activities to promote wellness and joy among seniors.

Responsibilities include reporting health changes, explaining dosages, distributing medications, and assisting with dining and activities. A caring heart, valid state licenses, and ability to work weekends/holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience with older adults preferred.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for The Barclay House of Augusta

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.Barclay House standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed
• Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant License issued by the state
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
