Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for the Barclay at Tuckahoe to support residents with medication administration and daily health tracking. You will document progress, ensure compliant medication management, and explain dosages as needed in a respectful care setting.

Qualifications include a state-issued Medication Technician license, CPR/First Aid, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
