Job summary

Cogir USA is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents in our senior living communities. You will assist with medication administration and daily living activities, following personalized care plans and ensuring residents' comfort and safety.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid CNA/HCA license, and current First Aid/CPR. Minimum 12 months of med administration experience is preferred; weekend rotation may be

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a set period.
• At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications, including self‑administration as per care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in medication inventory and proper storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide supportive care with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and maintain open communication with staff and families.
