Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks Medication Technicians (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate care and assist residents with medication administration and daily living activities. You will work within a supportive team and ensure residents’ safety and well-being.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, and staff, and participation in activities that enrich residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid state CNA or HCA license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Coordinate medication re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies as needed.
