Job summary

Cogir USA is seeking a Medication Technician to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities. You will be part of a supportive team ensuring residents’ comfort and safety.

Role requires a CNA/HCA license, valid First Aid/CPR, and 12 months of medication administration experience. Weekend rotation may be required and benefits include health insurance and 401K.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
