Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, supporting daily activities and safety throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, bathing, mobility, and activities of daily living, while maintaining dignity and respect. CPR and First Aid certifications are required, along with fluency in English; prior memory care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• This position requires memory care experience in a similar facility.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid First Aid certification is required per state regulations.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver provides direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care) and transferring to activities and meals.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

What You Will Do

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must Haves

EXPERIENCE IN MEMORY CARE SETTING

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
