Job summary

Savant Senior Living – Woodland Hills is seeking a caring caregiver to join our team. You will provide direct resident care, assist with daily activities, and support medication administration under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

We value teamwork, mission-driven care, and a safe, inclusive workplace. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, English fluency, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPR certification required
• First Aid certification required
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Ability to lift, push and transfer residents
• Prolonged standing ability

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents

What You Will Do

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must Haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
