Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Winchester is hiring Medication Aide / Med Tech across full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts in Winchester, VA. Certified RMAs or Med Techs earn $20.07–$24.81 per hour, with same-day pay options and benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications, documenting care, aiding daily living activities, monitoring residents, and fostering a safe, engaging community. Virginia certification required; experience in Assisted Living is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Medication Aide / RMA certification required.
• At least 18 years old and ability to pass background screenings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

• Assisting residents with self-administration of medications in accordance with Virginia regulations and community policies.
• Accurately documenting medication assistance and resident care.
• Providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitoring residents and communicating changes or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Developing positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Supporting activities that encourage resident engagement and well-being.
• Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable community.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Medication Aide / Med Tech, you'll play an important role in helping our residents live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with self-administration of medications in accordance with Virginia regulations and community policies.
