Job summary

RoseWood Village at Hollymead in Charlottesville, VA is seeking Registered Medication Aides (RMAs/Med Techs) to provide safe, compassionate care in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN scheduling with competitive pay ($19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience) and ongoing opportunities for tuition assistance, benefits, and career growth. Walk-in interviews are Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must hold Virginia RMA certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Able to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely in accordance with Virginia regulations and policies.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Monitor residents and report changes in health or behavior.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to provide resident care.
• Support residents in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Registered Medication Aide, you'll play an important role in helping our residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with Virginia regulations and community policies

• Maintaining accurate medication records and documentation

• Monitoring residents and reporting changes in health or behavior

• Assisting residents with daily living activities as needed

• Partnering with nursing staff and caregivers to provide exceptional resident care

• Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families

• Supporting residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care experience preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to successfully complete required background screening
