Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities in Chesapeake, VA. The role includes administering prescribed medications within scope and maintaining accurate documentation in EMAR/MAR.

Responsibilities include conducting medication cart audits, responding to resident calls, and supporting move-in transitions. Must have CNA and Med Tech licenses, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills; a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA and Med Tech license in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN or supervisor.
• Keep medication cart and EMAR/MAR documentation up to date.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions for new residents.
• Attend medication trainings and complete audits as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow policies.
