Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care, assist residents with daily living activities, and help administer prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.

You will maintain knowledge of all policies, document in EMAR/MAR, report incidents, and participate in medication trainings. Full-time and part-time positions include benefits, a 401(k), and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Must maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Communicate resident status and needs to the team promptly and clearly.
• Ability to follow medication administration trainings and observe procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with the administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in the EMAR/MAR.
• Report incidents and concerns to appropriate personnel (HCD, RN/LPN, ED).
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities; monitor attendance and wellbeing.
