Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Chester, Virginia is seeking a Medication Aide to assist with prescribed medications, support residents with daily living activities, and follow all policies. The role requires CNA and Med Tech licenses, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified within 60 days, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will participate in activity planning, EMAR/MAR documentation, medication cart audits, and resident communications.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations and audits annually.
• Effective written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document and report resident status and changes in EMAR/MAR.
• Complete medication cart audits and re-orders as needed.
• Support planning and execution of resident activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
