Harmony Senior Services in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living while administering prescribed medications within scope.

The role requires current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, completion of medication training, and strong communication. The position offers a supportive team, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth across 45+ locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities.
• Report incidents or care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Maintain medication cart and complete cart audits as assigned.
• Complete medication administration observations and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Move residents safely and courteously to meals and activities.
• Assist in planning activity programs and support resident transitions.
