Job summary

Leisure Living – Salem seeks a compassionate PRN medication aide to support residents on site. You will provide medication administration, answer and direct phone calls, and assist with cleaning and food preparation.

Training may be provided if not already certified as a medication aide. Essential duties include administering oral and topical medications, taking vital signs, and reporting changes to the charge nurse.

• If not trained as a medication aide, facility may provide certification.

If not trained as a medication aide, facility may provide certification.

Essential Duties

Administer oral medications such as capsules, tablets, liquids and topical medications such as eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, ointments, and other skin preparations.

Takes and records vital signs. Records and reports any observations and changes in resident’s condition to the charge nurse.
