Job summary

Leisure Living - Salem is seeking a compassionate individual to provide medication administrative support to residents, answer calls, assist with cleaning and food prep. If not trained as a medication aide, certification may be provided by the facility. The role involves administering oral medications, taking vital signs, and reporting changes to the charge nurse.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medication administrative support to our residents.


• Answer and direct phone calls.


• Cleaning and food prep.

If not trained as a medication aide, facility may provide certification.

Essential Duties:

Administer oral medications such as capsules, tablets, liquids and topical medications such as eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, ointments, and other skin preparations.

Takes and records vital signs. Records and reports any observations and changes in resident's condition to the charge nurse.
