Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Burgaw, NC, is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to administer medications to residents under a licensed nurse supervision, following state guidelines and facility policies.

This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) offers on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package, daily pay options, PTO, and opportunities for education and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the state registry as a medication aide.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.

Education/Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
