Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient medication management in the clinic.
• Receive, review, and facilitate medication renewal requests.
• Route requests to prescriber and document in the EMR.
• Communicate prescription information to pharmacies by phone, fax, or paper when needed.
• Advise patients on prescriptions, insurance procedures, and prior authorization steps.
• Process prior authorization paperwork with the care team.
