Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients on Medicare options and resources, improving access and retention. The role collaborates with clinic teams to guide patients through coverage choices and billing questions, while supporting operational tasks and patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Navigate Medicare programs and insurance options for patients.
• Proficient with Gmail/MS Word or Google Docs and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues including coverage and eligibility.
• Serve as in-clinic resource on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Help patients resolve medical bills inside and outside of Oak Street Health and advocate for the patient.
• Build trust with patients to advise them on healthcare coverage options.
• Manage welcome visit and orientation for new patients.
• Educate patients on applying for public benefits and Extra Help for prescriptions.
• Support clinic management with scheduling and billing responsibilities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and positive patient interactions.
• Foster patient engagement through center tours and events.
• Other duties as assigned.
