Job summary

Ez Health is seeking a Medicare Benefits Navigator to work remotely in the United States. You will assist seniors in understanding coverage, connecting with providers, and accessing practical support—without sales or licensing requirements.

The role focuses on clear communication, empathy, and thorough follow-through. You will perform outreach calls, explain benefits, coordinate with healthcare providers, and help clients prepare for appointments while maintaining organized records.

Medicare is confusing, and for many older adults it's only one of a dozen things to keep track of alongside doctors, prescriptions, bills and getting around. At Ez Health, each client gets one dedicated person who helps them make sense of it all and get what they need.

As a Medicare Benefits Navigator, you'll be that person for a small group of seniors. You'll help them understand their coverage and benefits, sort out problems with providers and insurers, and connect them with the practical help that keeps them healthy and independent.

This is not a sales role. You won't sell or enroll anyone in insurance plans, and no insurance license is needed. Your job is to help clients use the coverage and support they already have.

Who We're Looking For

If you've worked in insurance, benefits, healthcare offices or social services, your experience will carry over well. But you don't need prior healthcare experience to apply. What matters most is clear communication, good judgment, real empathy and a habit of following through.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• Making regular phone check-ins with each client to see how they're doing
• Listening carefully and asking the right questions to understand what's really going on
• Explaining Medicare coverage, benefits and costs in plain language
• Contacting doctors' offices, pharmacies, insurance companies and community programs on clients' behalf
• Helping clients prepare for appointments and follow through on the next steps
• Setting up transportation, medication refills, meal support and other day-to-day help
• Researching options and working around roadblocks when something doesn't go as planned
• Keeping clear records of every call, each client's needs and agreed next steps
• Managing your open tasks and sticking with each one until it's resolved

You'll have room to do this well: most navigators support about 20 clients or fewer, so you'll get to know each person and adapt as their needs change.
