The role involves high-volume calls, strict compliance, and documentation across multiple systems while aiming to enroll and recertify members accurately.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in healthcare, eligibility screening, case management, or high-touch customer service.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP, or SNP is a major plus.
• Tech-savvy with multiple screens; comfortable using Teams and Outlook while talking and typing.
• Patient and calm demeanor; build trust in challenging situations.
• Critical thinker who asks probing questions to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Compassionate conversations: assist members applying for or maintaining Medicaid, MSP, and LIS.
• Human translator: determine eligibility and explain regulations clearly and warmly.
• Application mastery: gather and verify sensitive personal and financial details.
• Regulatory standards: adhere to HIPAA, state rules, and company policies.
• Database navigation: manage multiple systems and track member progress.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11am to 7:30pm EST (9am to 5:30pm MST).

We are looking for empathetic, driven individuals to join us asMedicare/Medicaid Eligibility Specialists (MMES). You will be the voice of support and a trusted guide for members navigating the often-confusing world of government benefits.

• CompassionateConversations:Make and receive calls withmembers needing to apply for orobtain orretainMedicaid, Medicare Savings Programs (MSP), and Low-Income Subsidies (LIS).
• The "Human Translator":Determineif individuals are eligible for Medicaid or LIS benefits through a series of simple questions.When needed, explaincomplex regulations and eligibility requirements in simple, warm, and patient terms.
• Application Mastery:Gather and verify sensitive personal and financial details to ensure 100%accurateenrollment and recertification.
• Regulatory Standards:Maintainstrict adherence to HIPAA, state regulations, and company compliance standards.
• Database Navigation:Simultaneously manage multiple software systems and databases to track member progress and documentation.
• Schedule will be Monday to Friday, 11am to 7:30pm EST (9am to 5:30pm MST)
