Precision Medicine Group seeks a Medical Writer to translate complex clinical data into clear, evidence-based content across slide decks, manuscripts, and training materials. The role offers structured guidance for those new to medical writing and greater independence for experienced writers.

Under supervision, you will apply AMA style, perform literature searches, track timelines, and collaborate with regulatory and editorial reviewers.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent).
• Strong interest in medical writing and scientific communication.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong time-management skills balancing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
• Willingness to learn AMA style and reference tools (EndNote).
• Prior medical writing experience is beneficial but not required; independence scales with experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise scientific content across slide decks, manuscripts, training materials, and other deliverables.
• Interpret clinical and preclinical data and translate findings into clear written content and visuals.
• Learn and follow AMA style and client guidelines.
• Conduct literature searches and organize references.
• Attend meetings to support content discussions and capture actions.
• Maintain 85% billable utilization with manager guidance.
• Track tasks and timelines using tools like Workfront, SharePoint and Teams.
• Prepare materials for regulatory and editorial review.
