Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Medical Writer to translate clinical and scientific data into clear written content across slide decks, manuscripts, and training materials. The role adapts supervision to experience, supporting both junior and senior writers.

You will interpret data, follow AMA style, conduct literature searches, and collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure high-quality deliverables within budgeted hours.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent).
• Strong interest in medical writing and scientific communication.
• Detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to balance work on multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn AMA style and reference tools (EndNote).
• Prior medical writing experience is beneficial but not required; level of independence will align with experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise scientific content (slides, manuscripts, training materials) with supervision.
• Interpret clinical and preclinical data and convert into clear written content and visuals.
• Follow AMA style and client guidelines.
• Conduct literature searches and manage references.
