Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Medical Writer to develop scientifically accurate content across formats, under senior guidance. The role adapts to experience, with mentored growth for those new to medical writing and increasing independence for seasoned writers.

Responsibilities include drafting slides, manuscripts, and training materials; interpreting data; adhering to AMA style; and collaborating with internal and client teams to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in life sciences required.
• Strong interest in medical writing and scientific communication.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with AMA style and reference tools (EndNote).
• Medical writing experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise scientific content for slide decks, manuscripts, training materials and other deliverables.
• Interpret clinical and preclinical data and translate findings into clear, accurate content and visuals.
• Learn, apply and follow AMA style and client guidelines.
• Conduct literature searches and organize references.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external reviewers and participate in meetings.
• Track time and ensure work delivered within budgeted hours and timelines.
