Role requires Bachelor’s degrees in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology and ASCP/AMT certification within 1 year. Second shift coverage and rotating duties are included.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.

Aufgaben

• Performs laboratory testing of biological specimens in an acute setting using manual or automated techniques.
• Performs, evaluates and monitors laboratory tests as authorized within established protocols.
• Calibrates, maintains and repairs instruments and equipment; identifies malfunctions and applies corrections.
• Performs quality control and quality assurance activities according to protocol.
• Ensures proper labeling and suitability of specimens for testing.
