Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Technologist for the High Point Laboratory to support 3rd shift operations on a 7 on/7 off schedule (Wed–Tue, 8pm–6:30am). The role requires a NAACLS MT program with ASCP certification and substantial clinical lab experience.

You will perform tests, prepare blood components, and oversee sample handling for patient care. The position is full-time in High Point, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing opportunities for professional development within Advocate

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and NAACLS Medical Technologist program with five years’ clinical lab experience, or two years’ clinical lab experience with MLT certification.
• MT ASCP certification required.
• Previous MT experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and provides accurate laboratory test results on human patients.
• Prepares and issues blood components for transfusions.
• Assists in collection and transport of patient samples to laboratory sections.
• Handles hazardous materials per regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment for lab operations.
• Supervises and trains students and lower-level technicians in clinical lab work.
• Operates complex laboratory instruments and trains staff on their use.
