Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• MT/MLS or registry eligible; MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follows testing procedures and quality assurance guidelines for equipment and work area.
• Prepares reagents and maintains supply inventory to minimize waste.
• Troubleshoots test systems and coordinates with specialists when needed.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA).
• Maintains clear shift-to-shift communication with leadership regarding issues affecting patient care.
• Participates in staff meetings and department improvement projects.
