Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Technology, Clinical Lab Science or related field is required.
• 2 years clinical lab experience preferred.
• ASCP/AMT certification upon hire is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Blood Bank, Point of Care Testing, Urinalysis and Microbiology.
• Responds to physician inquiries and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Follows quality control and QA guidelines; maintains equipment and supplies; participates in proficiency testing and accreditation readiness.
• Completes accurate testing across preanalytic, analytic, and postanalytic phases to ensure quality patient care.
• Assists in training staff and students as applicable.
• Complies with policies to support patient safety goals and regulatory requirements; maintains safe work practices.
