Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a part-time Medical Technologist. You will perform technical procedures across Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Blood Bank, POC Testing, Urinalysis and Microbiology, while following QC/QA guidelines and maintaining equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Medical Lab Technology/Clinical Lab Science, 2 years CL lab experience preferred, and ASCP/AMT certification on hire.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Lab Technology/Clinical Lab Science (Required)
• 2 years Clinical Lab experience (Preferred)
• ASCP/AMT license/credential upon hire (Required)

Responsabilidades

• Performs technical procedures in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Blood Bank, POC Testing, Urinalysis and Microbiology.
• Follows QC/QA guidelines and maintains equipment and documentation.
• Participates in proficiency testing and accreditation readiness (CAP, DNV, CLIA, etc.).
• Assists in staff training and acts as lead technologist in absence of supervisor.
• May perform specimen collection and phlebotomy as applicable.
