Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist I for a 40-hour-per-week night shift (11pm–7:30am) in Missouri. BS in physical or life sciences required; ASCP not required.

You will operate lab instruments, run tests, and ensure quality controls under standard procedures. Responsibilities include managing laboratory data in the LIS, delivering timely results, and supporting performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical or Life Science required.
• No ASCP required!
• Minimum requirements include knowledge of quality control and basic instrument maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operates instrumentation to deliver accurate laboratory results.
• Reports results through the laboratory computer system.
• Performs quality controls and troubleshoots instrumentation.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
