100 Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a clinical laboratory professional to perform diagnostic testing across waived, moderate, and high complexity analyses. The role requires ensuring accuracy of results and maintaining a wide range of laboratory instrumentation.

The ideal candidate has a science-based degree with appropriate lab experience and is eligible for professional certification. This role supports quality improvement efforts, education of staff, and collaborative

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a science degree with related lab experience as described.
Eligible for certification in Medical Technology or a subspecialty certification is preferred but not required.
Experience level varies by education; new graduates accepted.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic testing (waived, moderate, and highly complex) on blood and other specimens.
Ensure accurate processing, testing, and reporting of results.
Calibrate and maintain instruments; perform quality control and corrective actions as needed.
Orient and supervise students and new staff; contribute to continuing education activities.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and teamwork across departments.
