Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Medical Technologist for the Core Laboratory on a 40-hour day shift. The role involves performing a range of tests across hematology, chemistry, and other sections, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and (preferably) ASCP MT certification, plus at least three years of related experience. Travel between Nashoba/Groton and Marlborough campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent required.
• ASCP MT certification preferred.
• Three years of related laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and report data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate hematology, chemistry, and immunology procedures following policies and procedures.
• Monitor quality control, calibrations, and instrument checks to ensure accuracy.
