The role supports physicians and nurses, preparing patients for procedures and ensuring proper specimen handling, processing, and reporting.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma and lab training, CPR certification, venipuncture skills, and 2+ years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant lab training.
• CPR certification and ability to perform venipuncture.
• 2+ years in clinical laboratory testing preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and quality control procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality and rapid lab results following procedures.
• Follow specimen collection, processing, and reporting protocols.
• Document quality control activities and calibrations.
• Order lab supplies in the medical record system under physician orders.
• Assist clinicians and nurses with patient care and testing prep.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and instrument maintenance.
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
