Patient First is seeking a Laboratory Technician to provide quality and rapid lab results, following strict procedures for specimen collection, testing, and reporting. You will assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient care, triage, and preparing patients for examinations.

You will maintain quality controls and instrument calibrations while supporting multiple centers as needed. The role requires a strong foundation in laboratory science, CPR certification, and the ability to

Formación

• Must have broad knowledge of Medical Technology principles and methodologies.
• Ability to calculate and convert analytical data to test results.
• Ability to produce rapid, reliable, quality laboratory results during high volume.
• Experience using medical record systems and lab information systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality and rapid lab results with proper procedures and safety.
• Follow procedures for specimen collection, handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Assist Physicians and Nurses with patient care and triage.
• Maintain instrument calibration, quality control and maintenance records.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of lab and treatment areas.
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings.

High school diploma or equivalent

60 college hours in chemistry/biology/medical lab techniques

Associate or Bachelor’s in chemistry/biology/clinical lab science
