Job summary

Takeda, in collaboration with BioLife Plasma Services, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Fayetteville, NC. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests, under physician guidance.

This role requires EMT or nursing licensure (EMT-B/A/I/P or RN/LPN/LVN), CPR/AED certification, and prior clinical experience.

Qualifications

• EMT-B/A/I/P or RN/LPN/LVN licensure with current CPR/AED.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• State licensure requirements met for responsibilities.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history, consent and testing.
• Manage donor adverse events and provide timely medical response.
• Review lab results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Follow SOPs for emergencies and coordinate donor transport if needed.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives.
